General Terms and Conditions

The original purchaser of the Hyundai Home product is entitled to this warranty, subject to the terms and conditions listed below. This warranty is non-transferrable and applies only to the original purchaser.

Warranty Requirement

For warranty service, your warranty card and your official product receipt are required to validate proof.

Coverage and Application

Applies to a Hyundai Home Appliance hardware product:

• Used in a normal domestic environment; not in a commercial environment
• Purchased in the Philippines
• Upon the judgment of Authorized Technicians, in normal use, GTC-Aldis Philippines, Inc. (exclusive distributor of Hyundai Home Appliances), will be responsible for repairing and replacing parts free of charge, WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR commencing from the date of purchase. (Note: Any defective parts which are replaced shall become property of GTC-Aldis, Philippines, Inc)

Warranty Exemptions

Warranty Exemptions include the following, but not limited to the following:

• Product damage caused by misuse, negligence, accident, natural calamities like pests, wind, flood, fire, lighting
• Product that has been modified, disassembled, altered and/or repaired by persons other than the Authorized Technicians and has used non-approved parts
• Failure to follow User’s Manual provided
• Damaged, altered and/or defaced serial number
• Any product accessories such as but not limited to plastic door bins and tempered glass sheleves.
• Shipping damage and defects incurred during transportation and handling by third parties from pickup to delivery.
• Defects and malfunctions due to power outages, poor electrical service, or incorrect electrical current or voltage.
• Damage from harmful environment such as: corrosive environment, plumbing issues like leaky or frozen pipes, clogged drains, improper installation, faulty wiring, poor water or air supply, improper storage, food/liquid spills.
• Using the product for non-intended purposes like commercial use in retail stores, hospitals and clinics, laundromats, schools, hotels, etc.
• Maintenance or replacement of parts or consumables due to normal wear and tear from regular/daily product use.
• GTC-Aldis Philippines Inc (“Hyundai”) will not be liable for any loss directly or indirectly caused from the breakdown of the unit.
